What are prism glasses?
Prism glasses are prescription glasses with special lenses,
specifically designed to correct diplopia (double vision).
Unlike regular eyeglass lenses that correct refractive errors,
prism lenses primarily address problems with eye alignment.
How do prism eyeglasses work?
Double vision happens when there is a misalignment and the light entering the eyes focuses on two different areas of the retina
rather than one. Prism lenses help to redirect the light before it reaches the eye, ensuring it falls on the correct spot of the retina,
producing one clear image.

If you need a prism correction, this will be included by your doctor in the prescription.
You will notice two more columns on the right: one indicating the prism and the other one indicating the base,
which is the orientation of the prism's thickest edge.
